New to the FaceBaby blog? Prepare to fall in love with the happiest and most animated baby I’ve ever met.

I am beyond delighted to be able to share my nephew’s hilarious pictures on a daily basis. As a proud uncle (okay you’re right, I’m borderline-obsessed, but I’ll stick with “proud” for now), I can’t think of a better way to connect with Bubba from across the country than with something like this. I’ll do my best not to ruin his natural comedic genius with my attempted witty humor. But first, a little common sense:

Bubba has never been, nor will he ever be, forced to “sit still for the camera” with the purpose of sourcing the FaceBaby blog. He is a natural ham! Most photos capture our regular day-to-day shenanigans; just Bubba being Bubba hanging out around the house. We also take a bunch of photos when Bubba’s being silly at a barbecue or some other shindig – you know – like every other family in the world does. And, if you judge it by the majority of his faces, Bubba quite enjoys taking photographs. Okay, sometimes he doesn’t, and he cries. So we feed him, and wouldn’t you know it, he’s happy again. Oh, but wait, his food is gone – so now it’s back to crying. Thankfully, somewhere amid all his howling and fidgeting he lets out a little toot, and the laughter begins once more. Until, of course, he realizes that his toot came with a full-on load of poo, and he cries again. So we change him. And he falls asleep. He’s a baby.

I guess what I’m trying to say is, while Bubba is funny and all, we don’t put our favorite one-year-old to work.
